The call comes before the family is ready
Most estate calls start the same way. Someone has the keys to a house in Killingworth or elsewhere in Middlesex County, a closing date or a landlord's deadline on the calendar, and a home that holds a whole lifetime of things. Nobody has a spare week, and nobody wants to be the one carrying a parent's dresser out to the curb alone.
The house is rarely just junk. It is furniture, ladders, boxes, a kitchen still stocked, a basement nobody has opened in years, all mixed in with the things the family does want. The real job is telling those two piles apart, and that takes someone on site who is willing to go slowly at the start and quickly after.
